hole in cases

    hey so ive always wondered y is there a hole in alot of cases oppasite side of the home button eg: above the screen and i dont mean the hole to slide it in and out is there a proxcimity (yea im just goin to go with that speeling) sensor like in a iphone but wht would be the point any ideas

    it is for the ambient light sensor.....

    go to settings... then go to brightness.... then if you have auto brightness checked it is a sensor to see how much liight it needs....

    It senses how much light is around you and automatically adjusts the screen brightness so it is best suited for you.
