Hmmmmm ERROR IN SCRIPT COMMAND 1: INSTALL APP

    I am nomally quite good at jailbreaking ipod touch

    however in this case not so lucky everything seems fine except for when trying to download from installer I am getting

    ERROR

    ERROR IN SCRIPT COMMAND 1: INSTALL APP

    Any ideas????

    this error message only happens on some of the games still not sure whats wrongs as my touch is fine

    i had that too but then i got the new update of installer and it started working

    SSH into you iPod and replace the installer.app with this one, hopefully this will fix your problem

    EDIT: Re-downgraded/upgraded .... still get the problem... however I did accidentally press add to que once, then it started happening, i then removed from que and it worked for like 10 minutes... then it stopped again. maby it's a problem with the que

    happened to me, I realized that install app was a command for a newer version of installer, I went to uninstall and reinstalled installer and it worked

    Got this error as well when downloading Books.app. When I figured out I don't need it, and tried to uninstall it gives me this error. Searching for an updated repo of the books.app solved the problem: updated books.app, uninstall, neat!

    Hey, could you pls give a detailed guide on how you did it? I've the same problem... and I've done very thing but "ERROR IN SCRIPT COMMAND 1: INSTALL APP" keeps showing when I want to download an application. Help!!!!!!!! what installer did you re-stall and did you have to downgrade and upgrade to have it fixed.

    Edwards you were right i did need to intall that installer... just not explained as well
