Hmm Wireless Probs

    for some reason out of nowhere my ipod wont connect to wireless networks..
    ive tried multiple connections and have restarted a grip of times also.
    when i click settings it says its connected but the connection icon on the top dock isnt there and safari/installer wont work.
    can anyone help me out please?!?

    it looks like a hardware problem, saw another thread (on another forum) with the same problem, he eventually gave it back to the apple store for a refund, try force restoring it, if that doesnt work, then replace ur ipod for a new one

    Are you connecting on your own Wi-fi connection or someone else's connection?
    If the connection is WEP or has a lock icon on it that measn it requires a password. If so was the password you put correct?

    oh wow that sucks it happend to me too what i had to do was i have the apple software update file 1.1.1 on my pc and u have to hold shift then click search for updates then find the update then it will put ur ipod back to factory all ur music and stuff is gonna be gone but it worked idk if that helps but if u need the restore file pm me and ill give u a link

    thats so horrible haha damnit.
    i have so much stuff that i put on there
    hours of work too and no wireless so no way to back it up
    thanks for everyones help.
