In October of 2009 I bought an iPod touch 2g/3g 8GB at Costco. When I bought it I was aware that I had a 90 day return policy. Well now I have a dead pixel in the corner of my screen and my headphone jack doesn't work right. I went to Apples site yesterday and it had this thing where you can put in your serial number and it will tell you if you have warrenty. I put mine in, it said I have warrenty until October. Does this mean that if I take my iPod to the Apple Store it can be repaired free even though I bought it at Costco? Thanks

Usually for them to replace it you need multiple dead pixels in a certain area. I believe its something like 5 dead pixels in a 3 cm section of the iPod, so I would call the Genius Bar first before making the trip.

Thank you. I'll probably just show it to the people at the genius bar next time I go
