I use quickreply sms and I have a passcode on my sms app, but when I receive a text message, it shows the contents of the message on the lockscreen, is there a way to hide the contents, so that it only shows the person you received it from, and then when you tap it, it can ask for the password, so I can quickreply to it from the lockscreen?

You would probably need to contact the app developer and suggest this to them.

I don't think there is any easy way to change something like this yourself. (Although there may be a to hide the contents of the text)

Thanks, that has solved one issue, but now I just need to find a way for it request a password when you double tap it to view and reply to it from the lockscreen

That will only lock the Messages app not the quickreply feature.

I use iProtect to lock the SMS app, but I need it to request the password when I double tap the message from the lockscreen
