I want to hide my apps, but still be able to search them in Spotlight. Quickgold did this and I liked it because I have like 80 apps, but I could keep almost all of them hidden to reduce clutter, but now I cant... Is there any way to do this?

There has to be a way. The iPod auto-hides apps if you go over the 11 page limit, using Spotlight to get to them.

I dont go over the 11 page limit... I want just one page of apps I want and the rest hidden. I got them to hide using SBSetting's poof, but then they didnt show up in spotlight

Same thing with categories, if you put them in categories, eg. Games, they don't get searched in spotlight.

maybe bigboss will be able to make a patch for it, we will have to wait and see. I, mean, after all, it's early days and most people have been jailbroken for less than a day. We need to give developers a bit of time.

Give it some time, but this is really annoying due to the fact spotlight was one of the main reasons i upgraded.

This happens since the 2.X and 3.X Poof uses Restrictions to hide your apps, and parental controls will disable the hidden apps from being searched

i know it would be annoying but what if you had your one page of apps and filled the other 10pages with blanks?

you would still have all those blank pages just to scroll through, and then you can't browse them in categories.
