I would like to preserve the stock look of my iphone, but still have ssh and installer installed in case i need them. Whats the best way to hide all the 3rd party icons. I know it possible to do it with customize and a xlauncher etc, but then you are left with those icons.
Is there a command or something that i can run from my computer to hide/unhide icons??

Try searching in google for a tutorial. It would take some editing of code, but you can recreate the effect Steve Jobs used to hide icons when introducing the iPhone and iPod Touch. Sorry I would post the link but I don't really have the time to search for you

In my N45AP file, only my stock apps show up, none of my other ones appear on the list.
    Am i doing something wrong.
I think I know how to hide the icons, i just can't find them on the list.
