Okay, testing out a an iPod Touch 1st gen and it seems there is a real Wifi issue with hidden networks although no real solution.
I have my home network hidden, if I try to connect using the correct SSID using the other connection method, it doesn't work. If I broadcast the SSID, I can connecti first time without any issue. If I hide it again, I cannot connect. Is there any way around this or will I have to broadcast the SSID?

That's always been a problem for the most of us. Even my Macbook has an issue with hidden SSIDs.

Well it is weird because I tried it this morning with my SSID still hidden and it worked first time. Subsequent tries and it is still working fine every time I connect even though I am not doing anything different from last night. I'll keep an eye on it.
