Hidden Features

    alright, so, heres a thread to list things that youve found on your iPod Touchs that when you found it, you were surprised.

    this is also like a "hidden features" list so other members can see what theyve been missing this whole time. basically, anything that you can do with the buttons to make your iPod perform an action

    ill start off by just saying,

    -the double tap home button feature

    If you tap the album art of an album your playing it brings up some extra controls.
    Like you can drag the track forward or back.
    You can turn shuffle and repeat on and off too.
    Just tap again to turn it off.
    Lol i didnt know this btu you guys probaly do.

    This may have been obvious... but I just realized that when the iPod is locked you can still control the volume, play/pause and skip tracks by double tapping the home button.

    When you play music you can plug your headphones in and hear it!

    Yeah, I couldn't figure that one out for ages.

    Queue/Review works - press and hold the next/prev buttons. Works for audio and video.

    I'm sure all of these and more are in the pdf user manual apple was too cheap to print and insert into the box. It's on the Apple site, if you missed it somehow.
