Hello, Im new member to this board and to Ipod world as well, I've just bougt an Ipod touch 2G (it's my first ipod though) and done some investigating about jailbreaking it. So far all I know is that it's not jbed yet.
I have some experience on RE on PC but with this ipod I have no idea where to start.

I'd appreciate very much if someone tell me where I can get all the documents about ipod touch system, jailbreaking, about hardware modding and how to get to iPod memory as well as its system files.

    Thanks very much

If you'd taken like 30 seconds to look around the forum and its sub-forums, all this information is easy to find.

There is no Jailbreak for the 2g iPod Touch yet. Since you are new to the forums, I won't be harsh about searching. Just search next time! Welcome to the forums. Read the rules if you haven't taken the time to do so already.

Obviously not. It's very noticeable, and I'm glad Bgizzle put this up, but people are still missing it. I say for a joke, he should put like sized 200 font saying there is no jailbreak yet.

Uhm, I'm asking for "where to start" guys cause I want to help, I want to know what's happening during boot process, how I can dump the NAND memory (or where to get 1).

    Thanks for replying anyway.
