Hi, i just joined these fourms looking for help about my 2nd gen ipod touch.

my friend was messing around today with the ipod and he tried to reset it, half way through the reset it ran out of power, So i got home and tried connecting it to my computer and it would come up with the apple logo but then it would just turn off again! and iTunes wouldn't find it!

i tried on a different USB port and on a different computer!

Is it just my wire has broken or has it acticvated some setting accidently?

    Thanks alot,

    yoke

    Try a DFU mode restore.

Find a different method to charge it. Wall charger, car charger or even connecting it to an xbox 360 if you have one.

No problem. Kick his ass if he does it again.
