HHEELLPP!!! Damn 2g Touch!!!

    I am having the same problem

    ...I got almost through the JB when the screen went black, so i tried to start over, Itunes wont see the ipod, cant get in or out of DFU mode, and 1click didn't work. When i hold down the power and home button the computer makes that ding sound and says it cant be recognized, but i cant do anything after that....what to do...ive read about 20 posts, and tried to do the redsn0w thing thing but, no luck...can you help me?

    Not that hard to get into DFU, after it makes the ding did you keep holding the home button but let go of power?

    i did, and nothing...Itunes wont open up to recognize or nothing...

    hold home and power 10 seconds, release and hold home for 10 seconds. not hard....

    i did, and i have been holding this damn home button for 30mins now...and nuthin!!

    I have done all the steps people have emailed to me but it still does nothing, it wont go into DFU mode, irecovery wont work, RUnRs, didn't do anything, i don't know what to do...HELP ME PLEASE!!!

    Well, you can't really be holding it for 30 minutes unless you typed the first post with one hand...

    And restart your computer then try again.

    Use RedTool to jailbreak. It's much easier. The link is in my sig. It has a great GUI that gets you into DFU mode, and all of the jailbreaking process, in a flash.

    Why not just do it manually, so if you run into problems, you'll most likely be able to fix them yourself...?

    I finally got i back to factory settings, but im scared to try it again...but i guess i will...thanks for all the responses.

    Here i go again, hope this works...

    dont go buy time like most noobs did/do go buy the noise hold the power and home wait till you hear the first ding then release the power and wait till you hear another ding then you release the home
