Hey, question about 2.0 FW

    well i don't have FW 2.0 YET! and when i see pics of the FW appstore isn't here and i'm swithing to app store no more jailbreak

    The appstore isn't functioning yet.
    And you might want to stay jailbroken, since the appstore will not offer nearly as much as your jaibroken iPod has right now.

    AppStore is not currently in the Beta builds of 2.0

    There is nothing in it even if it was there. You cannot even access the Store.

    I have a 2.0 question.
    I noticed that some bits of the file system were locked down. like i could see them but couldn't access them. probably not to give away any trade secrets to paying devs or a way to keep apps being written from doing things apple desnt want them doing.

    My question is when it released to the public is it still going to be locked down like that or is it only for beta developing that they locked those parts down.

    well it is not worth upgrading then (besides the calculater) but i want to develop applications. well i guess I'll stay jailbroken OR look into jailbreaking the firmware.
