Well it was totally weird, because absolutely NOTHING that I did to this thing would fix it, not a force restore, or anything, and iTunes was throwing that retarded error message, and wasn't recognizing it at all. I debugged it every for everything that I could find on here, but only that method worked, and it wasn't even for the issue that I was having.

    Plug into your computer.
Hold the home and sleep buttons.
When the iPod resets and you see the apple logo again release the sleep button.
    Restore with iTunes.

I had this, it's not bricked keep trying.

I had tried this, and it didn't do jack.

Problem was resolved in the original thread. Go read for the method I used.

ipod not working after 1.1.3 jailbreak

Hi, if anyone can help please. I restored to 1.1.1 jailbroke and updated to 1.1.2 the did the youtube ipodtouchhacker method for 1.1.3 jailbreak, left it for over an hour came back and it had the apple logo on screen. I can only turn it of by pressing power and sleep at same time but the apple logo just cycles on and off. I get no power off slider or anything else and itunes wont detect it either. left it on and on charger all night and woke up and still on apple logo, please help!
