Hey I'm New (Assistance Please)

    Umm b4 when I modded someones ipod for them, I saw this thing called Advanced controls or extra controls...
    It had features like airplane mode...
    has anyone ever heard of it??
    any repo??
    any way to find it??

    yeah look for it in Tweaks section

    It's called Extended Prefrences.

    Advanced Preferences used to be in the iPTF repo, but due to certain happenings it is no longer on the repository. However, you can still download the files needed from touchrepo.com and follow the instructions included.

    thanks to both of you but im trying to stay away from SSH because of problems...with stuff.....
    and Yes i read the noob guide....
    but its still weird.
    so i guess i will try SSH but are you sure there is no way to get it from installer?

    It's really easy to set it up, If you can wait till around 7:45 I can email you the Zip file and instructions on where to put it.

    I know which one your talking about, I have that one.

    And well I haven't seen the Repo for it.

    You should download Total Commander, you won't need Wi-Fi for that.

    Also umm how is the "queue" in installer supposed to work?

    You can add packages to your queue so that you have a lineup of things to install instead of having to keep returning to a section to install packages one by one. It's a very time saving feature. To install all items in your queue, choose the last package to install and select "Install". This will install all selected packages.

    I don't know about the Queue, I'm trying to figure that out too.

    And Yes I have AIM
