Hey. I am jailbroken on 3.12. I don't seem to take advantage of it though.

So, is there a point for me to remain jailbroken. I would use themes and winter board if they didn't lag the hell out of my device.

Before I jailbroke my device, I was under the impression everything from CYDIA would be free...... I don't know why I was under that impression. If i wanted to pay for crap, default would be through Itunes, not CYDIA.

I don't have a point to this thread, just wanted some ideas, whether to stay jailbroken or upgrade to 3.13?

Why would having a jailbroken iPod make everything free? The main idea of jailbreaking is to get apps that Apple would normally not allow in the App Store.

If you're talking about cracked applications then read the rules.

Jailbreaking is for applications and modifications to the iPhoneOS that Apple would not allow normally.

It also allows for a way for iPhones to be unlocked for any carrier, without the need to hard mod your device.

I am not talking about Cr@cked apps, I have read the rules.

But the retarded programs on Cydia that cost money.

Like that Bluetooth one, that cost 6 dollars and you can not even get internet tethering.

    =)

All software on the Cydia Store goes through Saurik first, so there's not a lot of 'retarded crap' there.

I believe that the developer is the one that chooses whether or not to sell it, and for what price. Take it up with them.

I just wish the ipod's hardware could handle winterboard a little better, and themes in general.

Maybe I am not getting the right stuff off of Cydia.

What are you guys running on your device?

The 2G should be more than fast enough for Winterboard and theming.

As for your question, I haven't owned an iDevice since May of last year.
