Here is my problem with the 2g quickpwn pics in side

    ok yes i have posted a thread on this befor but i cant find my old post to edit so i just though i post another one

    so here is my problem i restored my jailbroken ipod touch i did use quickfreedom and it worked out grate but wanted to use the new quickpwn cause i heard it dosnt take up that much space and and runs smoother

    but ya jailbroke with quickpwn and worked grate with no problem
    but the only problem is after the jailbrake
    i went to cydia to download winterboard
    also please note there are no music or videos or photos or any apps on my ipod at all but when i went into cydia to download winterboard i get a warning pop up saying
    im running out of spae please delete photos or videos

    and yes i used boss tools to free up some disk space but still dose it here are some pics to show you what i am talking about

    so ANY sort of help will help me out
    and was wondering if anyone else is having this problem as well?

    if there is no way to fix this i will just have to rejailbreak with quickfreedom again

    It's because QuickPwn doesn't resize the root file system partition.

    oh ok oh well i will just go back to using quickfreedom thanks for the help

    It only displays the message when cydia installs the extra libraries to iPhone OS. for example, in your picture, libxslt is installing. That is a library that gets installed on the system root partition. If Winterboard was the first thing you installed, then it gets dependencies, or the library files needed to run the application correctly. You are all worrying over nothing

    Hmm, that makes me not want to try QuickPwn. lmao.
    Pop ups are always annoying as hell...

    Is there not a way to expand the root partition? Eventually you will run out of room and then what?

    It's an annoying, though, harmless warning. If you want to get rid of it, run the 0.2 release on your iPod. It'll move aside the Fonts and /usr/bin directories, which free up 100 MBs and you won't get the warning again.
