I tried to connect my Ipod touch to my router but I do not have any ip or dns info and hitting the "forget network" button allows you to try again.

I have spent all day to do it , read forum, watched you tube. Anythink works.

This is in the wrong section, please try to Post this kind of problem in the "iPod Touch Tech Help" or "iPod Touch General Chat" sections.

I can't really understand what you are saying, but if you are trying to connect to Wi-Fi on your iPod, just go to Settings > Wi-Fi. Then it will display a list of the available networks (unless yours is hidden). Click on the network you want to connect to, and type in the password (If any). Then you should be connected to your wireless network.

    I hope this helps.
And in the future, try to type properly.

what does restoring have to do with wifi?
you dont need to know your ip if your router is not hidden.
just click on your network, enter a password if you have one and your good
