Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Uploaded and installed 2.0 onto my 8gb ipod touch today, disconnected from my computer and everything works great with my ipodbut i have tried to re-connect it to my computer and it keeps shutting my computer down and re-starting it. has anyone else had the same problem? any suggestions would be appreciated..

    Thanks for the info but i am still no better off. I updated all my drivers and i still get the dreaded blue screen when i plug my Ipod into my computer, anyone got any further suggestions???

    Try uninstalling iTunes and reinstalling a more recent one and then it might work.

    This might be crazy, but have you unplugged your ipod cable from the PC and tried it in another USB port?

    What error is the blue screen giving you?

    Yeah...make sure it is in a 2.0 usb drive.

    Tried new cables and all ports but still getting the same blue screen, cant see the error message and my system re-boots almost immediately. I have done a full restore on my Ipod for the second time and at the moment it seems to work. I am still running 2.0 but have not put everything back onto my ipod yet
