    !i reallllllllllllly need help my ipods working and everything but its not playing the music, ive changed headfones and it wont even work on my idock....HELP

    what do i do

    is there no sound output? does it look like its playing onscreen (slider going across)? are you jailbroken?

    Yep

    I have no sound, is playing on screen, yes i am jailbroken

    did you try syncing with iTunes. If that doesnt work restore. If that doesnt work. Tell apple and they will give u a new one.

    yeh i think i know your problem, if you have bought the music off itunes, and you have upgraded from 1.1.1 or used ziphone (i had this problem this way) then it wont play because its DRM wont work.

    Did you buy the music?

    just try resyncing your music.

    try rebooting
    that fixed it for me when I had this problem
    if that fails, restore
    if again that fails, contact Apple
