I tried using ZiPhone 3.0 to jailbreak my ipod but it got to a point where it was just saying BSD root: md0, major 2, minor 0

If I turn it off and back on it just does the same thing. How do I get it back to recovery or did i just brick my ipod?

Unplug, Hold Power and Home until it shuts off, Hold down Home button and plug back in and use Ziphone to kick it back into Normal Mode.

You might want to get version 2.6b to use next time. The BSD error has come back in 3.0. I'm guessing you have a 16gb?
