I have a jailbroken 1.1.3 8GB ipod touch, all was going good for weeks, then yesterday out of the blue it rebooted for no reason when it came back up it was displaying the image, the one with a CD with a cable underneath it, this means connect it to iTunes to restore

But of course I'd rather get my ipod bad to where it was, had stuff in calender, etc.
Is there a way other than restore, or is it just not possible?

    Hi azbmxrider,
How do I do that, is it Shift+Update and choose the downloaded 1.1.3 firmware, will it tell me I already have that version of firmware?

    HE LIES....

You have to use iPhuc to boot out of recovery mode.

Plug your iPod in, run iPhuc.
It will give you a recovery mode prompt.
Then, type in cmd fsboot, and your iPod will be super de duper.
BTW, what JB are you running?

Thanks for info aftershock, I'll give that a shot.
I'm on JB 1.1.3. From a fresh 1.1.1 i jailbreaked to 1.1.2 then used method "Jailbreak 1.1.3 for iPod Touch with NO Computer" to get to 1.1.3.

    Hi Aftershock,
    I downloaded iPhuc win32 from http://upload.tr0gd0r.com/uploads/iphuc-win32.zip
Extracted the zip file, then connected ipod touch to PC and ran iphuc.exe
typed "cmd fsboot" and this worked fine but when I exit from iphuc and reboot the ipod touch it's bad to it old ways again, is there any other commands I'm missing?
