    Hi
    Im new here..i just got my ipod touch and i dont know what to do..i turned on the ipod and then it showed a screen with the itunes and the usb..
    i connected to my pc and sync all my music and disconnected but the screen is still showing i have to connect to itunes..
    what should i do?
    i cant access the main menu

    try another computer? u may need to restore if that doesnt work...restore it and resync... thats my best bet

    you should see a slide to cancel or slide to unlock prompt, if not just reset

    make sure you're running itunes 7.4.2

    1. maybe it needs to be charged
    2. maybe you are syncing something in the background and you d/c it
    other than that, idk :S

    Also it should be noted that I have only USB 1

    oh. try another computer, perhaps a friends, or another port.

    reboot the computer with the iPod plugged in, and ensure that the latest itunes is installed and the support programs are running, such as iTunesHelper.

    I seem to remember that the iPod Touch only works with USB 2.0

    I would suggest you buy a USB 2.0 add-on card for your computer; they are not very expensive these days.
