Help!

    Hello, my iPod refuses to restore. I put it in DFU mode, have it restoring, and right when it trys to restore I get the 1604 error and a loop that I can't read keeps going. HELP PLEASE!

    Then you aren't in DFU mode

    DFU looks like your iPod is off, there's nothing on screen. Make sure you're in DFU mode

    Oh noes :0


    DFU man to the resscue.

    Simply hold both power and home buttons down for 10 seconds, Then release power and hold home button for another 10 seconds.

    It really is that simple! yes, 20 seconds for DFU.

    Don't forget to unplug your iPod whilst putting it into dfu.

    Apologies to the title, I just needed some guidance. I have tried to put it into DFU mode atleast 15 times. It simply does not work :/. Any suggestions? Is there any of other method?

    yes it does work, just keep trying, if it doesnt work your ipod hardware is broken...

    It goes to the "Connect iPod to Computer" screen after i attempt DFU mode. :/

    Then you're not doing it right. Go on youtube for a tutorial of how to do it.

    Trust me, i've put my iPod into DFU many times.. There is something not working. I'm going to take it to the apple store I guess :/.
