Just to make sure, is it a .iso file, or some other extension?

.ISO, and permissions are all set to 0755...and the icon is a little orange disk in WinSCP if that makes a difference

EDIT:actually it was called doa.ISO.filepart, so i removed the .filepart and it showed up in the library, but when i clicked on it, it said BIOS NOT FOUND: scph1001.bin

If the extension before was .filepart that means the ISO isn't a full file. You must get the full file for it to work. The full file will have just the .iso extension.

Did you ever consider that that game isn't compatible?

well yes but then i tried to install Grand Theft Auto, it came as a .img, so i changed it to a .ISO in Squid, and niether of them work...but you are saying the DOA wont work because its not a full file?

PSX4ALL supports .img,.bin, and .iso. GTA should have worked perfectly. It's one of the most fluid games out yet. And you can't change strange filetypes in squid, There are free programs that let you do that. As for DOA, try another iso from a different site.
