OMG!! Ok now...for some dumb reason, the "other" stuff takes up 3.40 GB which is coincidentally the amt of memory my music and apps take up. I deleted all my songs now but the "other" still takes up that amt..any help...?

Hit Reset all Content and Settings on your iPod and resync.

Other isn't your music, it's jailbroken applications.

Sometimes, the iPod (or maybe iTunes) screws up and does this.
