    ipod touch 2g dfu help????!!!

    ok here goes i jailbroke my friends ipod touch 2g yesterday and everything was fine......
    but instead of syncing it like a new ipod he hit restore and the ipod just shut off on him now im trying to fix it...
    I already tried to put in dfu mode but it wont work the computer wont recognize it at all no bubble saying unrecognized device or anything...
    i know its not bricked...
    and i know how to put it in dfu mode ive done plenty of times....
    and i already uninstalled and installed libusb but it still doesnt work...
    any ideas on how to fix this....

    How the heck did he accidentally hit Restore when it's in the middle of the page when he was supposed to hit Sync, which is at the bottom?

    he didn't do it accidentally he thought he was supposed to hit restore i forgot to tell him to sync it

    Yeah, so then it wasn't an accident...
    But have you tried restarting your computer...?

    And if that doesn't work, then just put it into DFU mode like you always do, and see if jail breaking it works.

    My bubble doesn't pop up sometimes, and my iPod still boots up with the Booter...

    It just won't go into dfu mode Ive tried doing it plenty of times now and I'm pretty sure I'm doing it right

    you have to wait one day...trust me ive been through this i had a similar problem dfu wont work iRecovery wouldn't work NOTHING would work. after the night it was morning (lol) and then i tried again adn the ipod recognized with the comptuer and i got to reboot it
