Can anyone help me out there. Been banging my head against a brick wall all night!!!!!!
Tried jailbreaking my ipod touch 1st generation 2.1 using quickpwn 2.1 - no luck. Everything saying installed correctly, pineapple logo on screen. But when i'm on main screen (springboard?) I can't see/find 'installer' or 'cydia'. Looked on both screens with all other app's and nothing.
Any help for this inexperienced, newbie would be great. Thanks guys

if you're going to put a post while youre panicking your face off (literally and figuratively it seems)
you could AT LEAST put whats wrong in the title.
that way people would know what the problem is, and we could provide help
also, you should search around a little.
put your ipod into restore mode
    then restore with itunes
    and try the process again.
    dont panic
pretty much any IPT problem can be fixed.

Restore and try again! sorry, that all you can do. and make sure you don't restore from back up. start with a completly clear ipod.

Changed your thread title. Titles like that only annoy people and decrease the possibility that you will get a good answer. Also, try to make it more informative than a single word (no matter its length).

Did you select Cydia and Installer in the payload optiosn when jailbreaking? Jailbreak again and make sure you select them - only takes 10 mins.
