help with WinSCP

    I downloaded WinSCP......i know what to do, read some guides etc.

    but when i transfer bios to the psx.app, or nes.app or gba.app

    and then i make a new folder in media for ROMs, i do everythign it says

    but after im done all that...i restart my ipod, and its still saying i need to download ROMs...

    what am i doing wrong?....someoen help me fix this thanks.

    Did you put the roms in the folder?? You need ROMS and the bios.

    In the ROMs (with that capitalization) folder, you need to make another called GBA (again, with that capitalization).

    You also need to put roms into the folder

    yes i created separate folders in the ROMs folder...called GBA, PSX, NES....i put the ROMs in there...and i put the bios into the application, not in ROMs folders.

    another thing i need help with is, when ever i download a file, it doesn't save to desktop, it just saves through windows explorer...its messed.

    how do i switch it back so it saves to desktop...i tried but when ever i click desktop, its trying to make me click bunch of different files, for it to save with not desktop.

    someon help me thanks.

    Did you make sure you set the permissions correctly on the BIOS?
    And did you make sure the ROMs are in the correct format (e.g., some emulators like MAME on your PC can read ZIP, but GBA needs them as .gba files)?

    I'm having trouble with WinSCP as well. I folloed the guide but I continuously get a Connection Refused error.

    yea i did everythign, i didn't copy file into gba folder if it was zipped...my permissions was set to 755..

    any idea why my winscp keeps crashing after about 30+ seconds? I'll get a few files in before it freezes and I get this

    error: Host has not answered in 15 seconds

    then a new box opens and I get this error

    I'm assuming you turned off autolock aka sleep? Otherwise, it shuts down connections by default after a minute or so...
