I have quite a few unthemed apps whenever I find a theme I really like and want to know how to make my own icons for them. Usually, the creator of the them includes the .PSD file to create your own icons, but I don't know how. What do I do with the .psd file to make them?

    Thanks, Codei

You need Photoshop, It is like a .XCF Gimp image, it is optimized for full editing, then you save it as what you want

    Edit: Ninja'd
Thats three times in one day I've been ninja'd

It's jsut image editing. Open it in Photoshop, make your icon, Save As .png with a different title. Doesn't require a tut.

so you open the psd in photoshop and look around his layers for where the glyph layer style is (assuming it uses glyphs)

then you go find a shape you like and cut it out and scale it down and apply that layer style from earlier and save it as Appname.png
