Hijacking this thread a bit but, after reading that thread studangerous posted, I can place all the apps I've purchased on my iPod to my other iPod? I purchased all the apps on the appstore app.

Can I have both ipods synced, both with the same apps ?

Legally you can have your apps you have purchased on all the devices within your immediate family. i.e. you don't have to purchase an app twice for two devices you own or for your's and your sister's iPod touch for example. As long as you live under the same roof only one purchase of an app is necessary.

You can also have up to 5 iTunes accounts on each iTunes installation so if both you and your sister have accounts on separate iTunes installations you can load them both up and all the apps on them onto each device.

However it is not legal for you to share accounts outside of your household - which would be silly anyway as all that person has to do is change your password and you've lost your iTunes account and all the apps therein.

I hope that explains... it's not that easy to describe and I tried to be as clear as possible.
