Well, I was trying to jailbreak my cousin's iPod touch 2G with the 24kpwn patch, but as I try to pre-jailbreak with rslite, it says:

    Permission denied?!
Has anyone else had this problem, because my cousin wants to jailbreak hers so bad!!!
    Thanks!

PS: Yes, before anyone asks, we are using a Mac.

maybe chmod 0755 ./rslite may work. (Long time since I tried, on Mac)

Your permissions aren't sufficient to access that level of the chip. I can't remember how to fix it, though...

I'm pretty sure it's the command, su which is short for superuser. It grants you superuser privileges.

    Nah, nevermind.
It turned out that the rslite was not a UNIX application.
    It was a text file.

Yes. It wasn't a UNIX application.
