help with ssh

    i had ssh on my ipod touch 1g but now i have a ipod touch 2g and no wifi are there any other ways to get in and edit my ipod touch filesystem and help would be awsome i know i sound like a nood but i have just been out of the game for a while thanks

    What firmware are you on and you're jailbroken right?

    all u need is SSH Client, I prefer WinSCP, and iTunnel. u need iTunnel according to ur iTunes version. I used to be on 8.2 for long now I am on iTunes9 so u'll need itunnel for itunes9. see if u can find the files n tutorials or reply back here I'll give u the files.

    LOL iTunnel + WinScp is SSHing via USB without WIFI. itunnel connect to iPhone using 127.0.0.1 root address. And connect winscp to iPhone thru ip:127.0.0.1

    ok illtry im have itunes 9 and a 2g ipod touch 3.1.2 jailbroken so i dont need a wifi for itunnle cuz i have winscp

    ya diskaid thats what i use but the only bad thing is its a trail you can change your computers clock so that it thinks you have more time left also it sometime dosent let you view the root partion

    You can download iFunBox and use that. It works perfect for me.

    Ifunbox is the best, no doubt. Nothing else is needed but OpenSSH on installed on your iPod
