Well I just switched over to ubuntu and I am fairly pleased. One thing though is my resolution is at 800 x 600 and I can't get any other resolution and its annoying. I'm on 8.04 hardy heron...any suggestions?

How old is your computer? It may not have the drivers for your Graphics card.

Or you can try changing the Graphics settings.

If you have an nvidia card, try enabling the restricted drivers
