Hey guys, I am currently on firmware 1.1.4.

The problem I am experiencing right now is as the title mentioned, the other .artwork.
I downloaded a couple of skins for my ipod touch from this forum such as the black one and it doesn't seem to change.

I did place this file into /System/Library/Frameworks/UIKit.framework/ and checked all permissions, tried resetting but the skin remains as default. Furthermore, I attempted the installation of the Dan's Customize the updated one via ssh, (it's version 9+) The other artwork folder is there and I tried using those available ones but they still do not change the skin!

Could anyone please help me out here?

I'm sure you've already done this, but I have to ask, did you reBOOT the iPod (as in powering off and back on) or just reset the springboard?

at least I got the other .artwork under customize to work right now. Any idea how to add other .artwork into customize WITH preview pics that allows you to select the ones you want?

did you make sure it was replaced? if you dragged it and it copied without asking to replace the file then you've dragged and dropped it into a folder in UIKit.framework. if this is the problem scroll down and drop it.

Make sure you overwrite the file: check if there are 1 or 2 other.artwork files in the UIkit.framework folder. If so then make sure the filename is spelled extactly like this:
    Other.artwork.
    Hope this helps
    Cancel the other file!!!

    Here is another files

With below attachment, I could use it succesfully. I am on 1.1.4 iTouch but I didn't make the file. Make a back up first and then overwrite the other.artwork file (that is what I did).

The file I found it somewhere around this Thread.

    Let me know the result.
