I was going through my Mac and I saw that under Library>Application Support>Mobile Sync> Backup, there were a TON of weird document files :Around 2gb's worth. It looks like it's the backup of the iPod when connecting to iTunes. Can I get rid of these? There are Manifest.plist and Status.plist in there with them too..

    anything will help. Thanks.

All the weird files are yout iPods backup.
Shouldnt be 2GB though, unless you have A LOT of stuff.

And If you get rid of them, youll lose your backups.
But, I think this will get rid of the size problem.

    1) Delete everything in the Backup folder.
    2) Go to iTunes and plug in your iPod.
    3) Right click it, and press Backup

There, now you have everything you need and the file size shouldnt be 2GB anymore.
