I've tried so many times to jailbreak my iTouch 3rd generation 32 gb 3.1.2
    I've been using blackra1n RC3 on a Windows XP

PLEASE will someone help, i've posted this on a couple more forums and no one bothered to answer!

I don't know if it's the software or my method but i'll list the steps in addition to the software above.

    1. I close (the latest version of) iTunes
    2. I plug in my iPod
    3. I open blackra1n
    4. I click "make it ra1n"
    5. It switches to recovery mode after the message "entering recovery mode"
    6. The USB arrow to itunes logo pops on the ipod "running" appears
    7. The blackra1n says "done, waiting for reboot" and the popup comes up "enjoy jailbreak...donate"
    8. My ipod remains blank-screened. (No logo/picture appears)

Should I run blackra1n again??? Because I did and NOTHING!!!
    I'm so frustrated!

So would you recommend a change of software or did i do something wrong???

Ok, can I say one thing? At this stage in the game, there is NOTHING you can do to permanently damage your ipod. So chill.
