im having trouble upgrading from 1.1.1 to 1.1.2 and jailbreaking i gt you must have oktoprep installed and i have it installed on 1.1.1? i dont get it i did it before several times, does itunes 7.6 patch this?
i believe itunes 7.6 destroys the device node that oktoprep creates when it syncs, so the answer is yes, itunes 7.6 would ruin a 1.1.2 jailbreak
i took my itouch back to best buy yesterday, got a new one today with 1.1.2 installed on it, downgraded, jailbroke it at 1.1.1, jb it to 1.1.2, and then realized 1.1.3 was out for jb now so i did that... all on itunes 7.6.
