Help with ipod nano 4g

    i spilt a couple drops of baby oil on my ipod

    and when i woke up in the morning there was a streak and a blob of lighter color "inside" the screen...i dunno if dat makes sense

    if u cant see the pic its just a thick line of lighter color and a blob with lighter color

    Hm, there isn't a screen protector built in to the 4G, is there?

    Otherwise, you still under warranty? Don't think they cover water/liquid damage though.

    Are you sure it "inside"? if it just dried on the outside a little soap can take it off, But if it is inside, you warranty is void and you will have to pay to replace it, so you should get used to it.

    i tried soap and water nothing changed... i just dont understand how it got "inside"

    EDIT: does any1 know how to open the 4g ipod nano? if i cud open it carefully maybe i can clean the screen or sumthin.... plz help

    well i suggest you don't open it, and do what duykur said. you should get used to it, because you'll find that if you open it, especially if you're not careful, you could damage the inside, and you'd find yourself going up to apple and having them fix an even larger problem.

    This similar thing happened to mine, except it was only water. Try leaving it in the sun to dry for a few days (maybe up to a week) and see if it changes.
