Look around on the iPod Linux wiki
I think there are a few installers, but if I were you I'd go with rockbox
It's a lot easier to install
I only installed iPod Linux so I could have the bootloader or whatever it's called
(it let's you choose the firmware you want to run when you boot up the iPod)
And that's only because I run the original apple firmware, a couple different iPodwizard mods and themes, and rockbox.
I really went all out on my iPod

    no
Not if you want to use rockbox
Or use any of the installers that don't partition the hard drive
Do a liitle research on the iPod Linux site
