I have WinSCP open and showing me what appears to be my itouch in
private/var/root. I see three folders Library, Media, and Media_Sym.

I also have my Iphone filesystem which has
    the following folders Applications,bin,Library,private,sbin,System,usr
and then a bunch of root appplications. Do I just drag this over to the Ipod touch or do these have to be put in specific librarys ect..if so where do they go...thanks for any help on this one. Sorry for seeming dumb.

On the top of where those three directories are, you'll see another directory called ".."

That will bring you up a level. Keep on clicking that until you are back at root. You can then navigate to where you want from there.

    maybe im missing something

thanks for the fast reply...I double clicked on that and now I see the following. Db,empty, log, logs, mobile, msgs, preferences, root, run, tmp,vm.

In my iphone folder I have the following ....
    folders
    Applications
    bin
    Library
    private
    sbin
    System
    usr

    Then the following files
    .DS_Store
    Applications
    bin
    cores
    dev
    etc
    Library
    List of files
    mach
    private
    sbin
    System
    tmp
    usr
    var

What Im asking is where do I move all these folders to and then the files?
Which directories do they belong in...and the files also? Dont know if Im making this clear or not...
