Help with GIMP

    OK ... i just downloaded GIMP because I want this picture as my boot logo but with the regular black background ... so exactly how do i do that to just have the outline of ichigo's inner hollow (and the little fuzz around him) through GIMP

    It is just my opinion but I use Paintnet by Adobe and I love it, plus it is simple to use. I know many members will probably tell you to use Photoshop 7 or one of them, but try Paintnet and also remember YouTube is your friend as well as Google.

    Paint.net is not owned by Adobe.

    Also, he could use aviary.com or sumopaint.com

    Just erase the top left pixel. That makes it transparent. I think you have to change it to 8 bit colour depth or something like that too ^.^,

    Thanks .. I did that and it worked but it doesn't look right - like it's still fuzzy around the edges - is there a way to fix that?
    Here's what it looks like if you can tell the fuzzyness I dunno how this works =(

    In the color menu I think? There's an option called color to alpha, which gets rid of all but the pic itself
