    Hi everyone...
I just started making my first theme.
I have had experience editing other themes
but I want to make my own now.

Its just entering summer for me
so I figured I would make a summer theme.

I am going alright and I have managed
to get a dock, wallpaper, and those little
    page indicator thingies.

I am also working on a lock screen and key board.
But what I think will really bring it together is the icons.
This is what I got so far:

Thing is...I would like icons like in themes
    like clear theme...with
opaque icons that are packed and touch
on all edges like in the clear themes
    (for example):

    The icons arent working though!
I make them same size as clear theme
and everything, then when I upload them...
they are TOO opaque (ok...they aren't opaque..they arent there)

    Can anyone help me?
And does anyone have any suggestions?
AND is anyone interested in this theme?

Can you put a screenshot with the clear icons that you made?

    So...The icons i tried were
    calculator and photos.
As you can see...nothing is in the spaces...
but if i touch the gap..it still opens the app.
    Cool...but not what I want.

And...where might I be able to
    get a custom Lockscreen theme?
I just need to see where things go...
    what they are called..that stuff.

Well, the original clear theme uses a gradient in the icon and you didn't put anything at all. And it could be like a white border around the icon with a low opacity. I'm not a Photoshop expert or anything, so I could be wrong

And check out custom sliders to check lockscreen stuff. Also, you'll need to put in the words of the app or turn No Undocked Icon Labels in Winterboard off.

    I did use a gradient and everything....idk...[sigh]
maybe I will just make them the normal size...
    figure something out with that.

Anyone like the theme so far?

Hmm normal size? How big/small did you make them? Anyways I can't really judge it yet, it's just starting and so far it just seems to be a wallpaper. I can't really tell what the dock is lol. Are the palm tree shadows part of it? Or are they part of the wallpaper?

what is your opacity setting in photoshop for this theme? if you want good clear theme you need a nice gradient and it needs to be around 10-20% opacity and have like a black or white border on 2 of the edges to get a 3d look
Also make sure your saving as a PNG

    its all good...
    I got it going.

    I got icons, dock icons,
    dock and status bar...
    and a cool wave sound
    for the unlock sound.

So far it looks like this:
