    Hello all,

I'm using gpSPhone 7.1.3 (latest) and I've been trying to insert some cheats for Pokemon Fire Red on my iPhone.

I've followed all the steps like renaming the file to the exact same ROM name and with the .cht extension but the .cht file doesn't appear when I select "Toggle Loaded Cheats".

There's no cheats to enable at all even after pasting the file in the GBA/ROMs directory.

Any one can shed some light on this issue?

They work. The codes changed from v6 to v7. If your line of code has multiple lines it needs it's own identifier, and my codes still didn't work, until I put in a proper description afterwords. Look here:http://pastie.org/2442982

    edit:
    here's out it should look:
    Gameshark_v3 your description goes here...
    D8BAE4D9 4864DCE5
    Gameshark_v3 your description goes here...
    A86CDBA5 19BA49B3
    Gameshark_v3 your description goes here...
    128898B6 EDA43037
    Gameshark_v3 your description goes here...
    BFF956FA 2F9EC50D

Note: For some reason if you enter codes in all eight slots you might have issues, and each line of code might be apart of the same code per the instructions in the link I provided.

    Confused. :)

Hello, I was wondering if you could help me out a bit? I'm playing Pokemon Emerald and I'm able to enable my cheats but they don't work.
    Here's what I've got: (5000 exp cheat)
    Gameshark_v3 exp
    A744170A A996
    Gameshark_v3 exp
    9B540825 258E

I've also tried "access pc" and "1 hit kill" cheats as well but none seem to work, any ideas?

You need a better description for your cheats, because I had short ones before, and the codes never worked. I have no idea why that would affect things though.

here's an output for cheat odes that work for me to give you an idea:

    gameshark_v3 Master Code enable
    D8BAE4D9 4864DCE5
    gameshark_v3 Master Code enable
    A86CDBA5 19BA49B3
    gameshark_v3 no random battles
    2C5490D9 EB69CACB
    gameshark_v3 walk through walls
    7881A409 E2026E0C
    gameshark_v3 walk through walls
    8E883EFF 92E9660D
    gameshark_v3 warp to sootopolis city
    1DE2E5F2 55690815

I have not got the code breaker codes to work though, if those are code breaker codes in your post, and these gameshark codes that are listed online in that format in my post are the only gameshark codes format that work for me. The ones with no spaces in the codes I have no look.

Thanks for the advice. Here's a mega list of Emerald codes: (not the ones i was using) http://m.ign.com/walkthroughs/709041

And those codes I used were gameshark codes but they were a diffrent kind from what you are using(I think...) . I got a few from the above link to work.

    Thanks again.

You have to rename the file to rom name.gba.cht.And you have to remove the spaces in between the codes for it to recognize the codes. although if your code takes up more than one line the second line of the code for example will read as another cheat. I will be modding the file to see if I can fix that.I found out something else as well. You no longer need to input the gameshark_v1 or PAR_v3 to make the code work just put the name of the code and put the code under the title of the code.I will add a photo below so you can see the file setup.I would but I don't know how to upload images from my iPod touch 4th gen.

Sorry for the bump, but I didn't want to start a new thread.

So I want to use this cheat:
    Re-Battle Activator
    10C6FC61E2C9
    F94A157DDCD8
    10C6FC61E2C9
    805D5CA1C2B5

So would my Pokemon Emerald.dl.cht look like this:

    gameshark_v3 Re-battle
    10C6FC61E2C9
    F94A157DDCD8
    10C6FC61E2C9
    805D5CA1C2B5

    or like this:

    gameshark_v3 Re-battle
    10C6FC61E2C9 F94A157DDCD8
    10C6FC61E2C9 805D5CA1C2B5

    or finally like:

    gameshark_v3 Re-Battle
    10C6FC61E2C9 F94A157DDCD8
    gameshark_v3 Re-Battle
    10C6FC61E2C9 805D5CA1C2B5

so do I need a new gameshark_v3 Re-Battle for each line of code or what?

Dude did you read my post at all?you don't need to put in the grooveshark_v3. Just put the name of the code and then the code underneath it. Originally in the 6.6.7 your third input would be correct but I tried doing both the third and 4th like you have put but they didn't work. It was a shiny cheat but its possible it's not compatable yet. But another thing though I tried the 4th input you have and it did read them but only one of them would say activated.

    Ok thanks.

So I all the "code" is supposed to be on the same line? Like:
    Re-Battle Activator
    10C6FC61E2C9F94A157DDCD810C6FC61E2C9805D5CA1C2B5

No two lines of code per line but like I said the code may not work because the second line will read as a name for another code. I tried putting all the lines of code on one line but it didn't work.but the code may still work using the method I first explained. The shiny pokemon code I used may just not be compatible and that may be why it didn't work.So your code should look like this.
