Help with downgrading

    i am trying to downgrade my iphone 3g from 2.2.1 to 2.2 so i can unlock it wiht yellowsn0w. whenever i try to downgrade, it always says error 1013 and the iphone is now in recovery mode. please help!!!!!!!

    have you put it in dfu? search youtube to find out. then when you do that, shift click restor ofi on windows, option click if on a mac and find the firmware bundle that you have. i assume that you have it since you want to downgrade, but if you dont search google and download. thats all. then rejailbrake.

    u cant downgrade the baseband, once youve upgraded to 2.2.1, its done u cant unlock your iphone unless the dev team comes out with a 2.30 baseband unlock.
    Unless of course you upgraded using custom firmware avoiding the baseband update.

    Like pogoyoyo said; you're SOL....

    Once the 3G gets updated to 2.2.1 it is no longer unlocakble.

    I would guess that the Dev team won't release anything until the 3.0 software comes out officially and not just the beta.

    So until then your 3G is locked. I believe your only option is a SIM adapter.
