Ok I've followed the instructions posted here but I can not successfullly enter DFU mode, more times than not I wind up in recovery mode and iTunes barges in. Is there some secret that I'm missing?

Additionally what will the scree look like in DFU Mode, I've read it will be blank and I've read it will have a graphic of a sync cable.....

    Thanks for any help.

PS I'm using the Voltage JPer

... why dont you make life easier for you and use Quick Freedom.. a slight F1 key press tells you everything to do... step by step.

as for the screen, itll be black then turn white

yeah.. it takes really about 20 minutes... if that... u must have a REALLY slow computer, or had a LOT of things running using up CPU.... idk.. but one hour is VERY inaccurate..
