    Make sure...

Make sure your ipod has ssh on...
Your port on winscp is 22
Your ip of your ipod is entered... can be found at Settings/wifi/bluearrow by your wifi network
    the username is root
    the password is alpine

on cuteftp go to file>new>sftp and enter the ip,username,password,port22 and makes sure your ipod has services/edge installed from installer. turn ssh on and edge off. then set autolock to never on ipod, leave ipod on, and go from there.

The same thing happened to me. I clicked "ok" and then double clicked on the box that showed the progress of connecting to my ipod. It opened up and works fully now, but I still have to do that everytime.
