    Help with 'App Reveal' - doesn't work with Music/Video/Photo..

    I'm trying to make a springboard totally blank (apart from the statusbar), but with all the actual icons hidden (with App Reveal). So i've done that by editing each individual application and adding SBIsRevealable to it. All my icons are hidden except Music, Videos, Photos and both 'MobileMusicPlayer.app' and 'MobileSlideShow.app' 's info.plists have that field in it, but they don't work.

    So it looks like this:

    So does anyone know why App Reveal isn't working with Music, Videos and Photos, any help/suggestions would be appreciated - keeping in mind that I don't want to make the icons black.

    It does work. I think I Put it in two spots. Right under where it says the"UIRoleDisplayName" string.

    <key>UIRoleDisplayName</key>
    <string>Camera</string>
    <key>SBIsRevealable</key>
    <true/>

    <key>UIRoleDisplayName</key>
    <string>Photos</string>
    <key>SBIsRevealable</key>
    <true/>

    It might only need the Photos ones. I did both

    <key>UIRoleDisplayName</key>
    <string>Camera</string>

    I played with that string it appease to me by adding that to you Info.plist file you can change the names of your apps on Spingboard.

    Whener ever I add
    <key>SBIsRevealable</key>
    <true/>
    Above the last 2 lines in the plist file the icon gets removed completely from the springboard and no way to open it until I remove those lines back out. Does anyone no y?

    Did you try to double tap the hidden icon?

    I figured out what was wrong.
    Putting it before
    </dict>
    </plist>
    was causing the app to be removed all together from the springboard, but putting it before
    <key>CFBundleExecutable</key>
    <string>AppNameHere</string>
    made everything work fine.
