I currently use a airport extreme, it's the generation before the current one, so it supports 802.11n but it isn't dual band. I recently built a computer that uses a b g and n. I would like to use n but the other devices in my house (360, Wii, laptops, iPhone etc) are ALL on g.

My question is, if I bought an airport express, could I use it as either my host or extender and broadcast an n network?

Or would it be better to use an old belkin g router and broadcast a g simultaneously with the airport extreme just broadcasting n, and could I do that with only one modem and connect one router through the first?

Or of course could I just buy a dual band router? Although I'd rather not have to buy a new one. Thanks
