    Hey guys
sorry im not sure if im posting this in the right area
and ive been looking everywhere for help
    but
i just recently bought an ipod touch 32 gb.
    i jailbroke it using ziphone
    BUT
i do not have wifi, so after the jailbreak process on ziphone was complete, i left it. ( i am not sure if you need to do more, on the ipod touch itself to finish jailbreaking it)
but im wondering how you get apps and such on to your ipod without wifi
i tried using igopher but when i found my ipod, it only have an itunes folder, and some dmc or something folder, neither of which had an application folder.

also, not sure if this is good or bad or anything (could be totally normal)
but when i connect my ipod touch to my computer
on itunes when i click it under devices, i dont have an applications tab or anything
it could be normal, but i just read a thread somewhere else that said it should have one
if someone could help me out thatd be great!

So i take it your on 1.1.4?

well you need a USB Filebrowser like iPhone Browser and then you need to download the .app packages, only problem is that it becomes hard at this point.

So just upgrade to 2.0.x and then it's much easier to put things on

    hey
    yes i am on 1.1.4
    um
    if i upgrade to 2.0.x
i still wont understand how i transfer files on
i believe you need an applications folder to put the .app files into correct?
my ipod doesnt even seem to have one
i may be totally incorrect though
but if i upgrade to 2.0.x
will that enable apps to be put on?
    sorry for sounding stupid =[

    yeah ofc you can!
I was in 1.1.2 and upgraded to 2.1 jailbroken yesterday I suggest you do the same it's totally different
well you may find the apps by yourself some of them are intalled directly in the apps folder and some uses other folders for files(at least when i used 1.1.2) but I suggest you find a public wi-fi spot and install them with Cydia is simpler, if you still want to do it by usb download Diskaid and install the apps manually
